The come and see church
The Point is very definitely a mainstream Christian church.
We believe the sort of things that all Christians do, about Jesus the Son of God and Saviour of the world. We read the Bible each Sunday and look at what it says to our everyday lives. We fit in with the other churches in Hexham and take part in the annual Holiday Club.
Christians do disagree about more minor things, so we like to see ourselves as "generously orthodox" - we know what we believe and how much it matters, but also that we can be gracious with those who think differently.
Churches are here for all sorts of reasons, but we're here especially to help those who don't yet know Jesus.
If you are new to Hexham but already a fully committed follower of Jesus, then there are lots of great churches to go to. But if you share our particular vision then do come along and join us.
If you are not yet a follower of Jesus, then we've tried to design the Point for you. Give us a try - and if our design isn't right let us know - and we'll try to improve it!
